Bowling Green Elementary Student Places First in the State

003Bowling Green Elementary is proud to announce that for the third year consecutively, one of our students has placed First in the State for the Virginia Epilepsy Foundation Art Contest. The purpose of the contest is to raise awareness of the occurrence of brain injury in children who don’t wear protective helmets when participating in certain activities. Madison was one of twelve students selected out of approximately 700 participants from around the State of Virginia. She received a beautiful certificate and was invited to attend the Virginia General Assembly in Richmond. In addition, her work will be featured in a 2015 calendar. Great job, Madison!
